Good Grief

WordPress just published an update, and I realized I havent updated since January. I think that shows a massive amount of neglect on my part. Oops. So many things have happened since January, I’m not entirely sure where to begin. Lets see

Since my last post in January, that month tried to kill me. I got decently sick twice, and scrached my right eye. I spent way too many days feeling like crap, and in bed, and in pain. I survived though, so thats a plus, right? After that, the usual amount of work has been taking place. Work is crazy and always busy, so I soldier on. I cant write about it, so I wont, but figure that its what it always is.

Lots of house stuff has taken place what with adding bookcases, chandeliers, painting the music room, working on the backyard. and so on. We also have a pool now. Outside there’s a new rock wall in the backyard, all yards have a sprinkler system, we tore out the fence, the sinkhole is filled, and I’m planting a row of boxwoods next to the driveway. In the future, upgrades to our electrical system, and a reinforcement of the garage.

In other news, our friends Barnaby and Ruby moved from Vegas to Portland. They’re currently with Monkey and Bucket, and my garage is their storage unit. In trade, those electrical and garage projects will be facilitated by Barnaby, who is I dare say, handier than I am, but in many different ways. He’s a hell of a resource, and a good/generous friend.

Beyond that, I finally have AirPrint in the house with a new printer, a new Mac Mini running server, the old blue couch is in the music room (which is purple) and I have a new blue couch upstairs.

Figure that I’m going to add more here in the near future. I think pictures and a good posing via iPhone WordPress is in order. I’m also going to start updating The Enclave’s website with pictures as well. Its been long neglected. I’m tired of neglecting, so I’m going to attempt yet again, to break out of the apathy with writing. Yes, I hear you David. I know you’re giving me grief, and I appreciate it.

Okay, off to do interesting and exciting things at 1AM.
